A long-time supporter of cricket at all levels in within its borders the Council continues to allow Penrith Cricket the opportunities for growth. The greatest example of this is through their cooperation during the planning stages of the new Howell Oval development. Penrith Bowling Club
The ‘Bowlo’ as popularly referred to by many at the Cricket Club has been a recent and extremely positive relationship for Penrith Cricket. A club on the rise themselves the Penrith Bowling Club and Penrith Cricket developed an agreement three seasons ago and is now beginning to develop longevity. Our club and members have experienced the fantastic hospitality the Bowlo provides for the local people, with the highlight so far being the Inaugural ‘Schnitzel Challenge’ in October last season. Panthers World of Entertainment
As a stalwart of the Penrith area for over 50 years, the Panthers World of Entertainment has also been a long supporter of our cricket club. The long time backbone of our community the club is renowned for its generous support of not only rugby-league but sport and community endeavours in the district. With exciting growth initiatives for the Penrith region on the horizon from the NSW Business Chamber Panther’s is working closely with the Penrith Business Alliance to develop their current site at Mulgoa Road, as well as their role in growing the area sustainably and responsibly. Sommers
The company was initially set up due to an interest in manufacturing cricket gear at cheaper costs than the big competitors. An interest soon turned into a business as the family company grew out of its first site and relocated to Wetherill Park where they operate currently. Sommers now experiences global reach with partners across the cricketing globe. Penrith Cricket has maintained a very successful long-time relationship with Sommers, with many of our players building individual relationships with their team.
